The new KTM 790 Adventure - here's what MCN make of the bike: KTM have officially unveiled their long-awaited KTM 790 Adventure model at Eicma in Milan. Using the Austrian brand’s 799cc LC8c engine, the 790 Adventure aims to combine genuine off-road capability with on-road comfort. Developed in conjunction with the Red Bull KTM Rally Factory Racing Team, the bike features WP Apex suspension offering 200mm of travel at either end and 93.7bhp, meaning the 790 Adventure should be able to tackle serious off-road terrain. Unsurprisingly available in orange and white, this off-road capability is helped by a chunky 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheel, alongside a steering damper for greater stability. The KTM's impressive fuel range KTM are also promising a 279 mile range from the bike's 20-litre tank, meaning plenty of adventuring between fuel stops. The bike is also capable of 9000 miles between servicing, too. The 2019 KTM 790 Adventure will also be packed with tech such as the full-colour five-inch TFT dash with multimedia connectivity and control and lean angle sensitive traction, reducing spin based on lean angle. ABS also comes as standard.
